Bane, our newest Foster Camper, arrived at Dogs at Camp Uxbridge this past week. He is a Great Dane mix, and is about a year old. He settled quickly and easily into our camp environment, and has been equally comfortable with staff and all of his fellow campers. Bane would make a wonderful addition to a family [...] Julia is our latest Foster Camper to find a new home after her time at Dogs at Camp Uxbridge. She is settling in well with her new family, and we thank them for providing her with a wonderful and loving home! The Dogs at Camp Team After 7 months, Indigo (or Indy as we call him) has finally been adopted! He will remain in the Dogs at Camp family as Barry Caswell, the uncle of the owner of Dogs at Camp Ottawa, has adopted him and moved him to Thunder Bay. There he will have an older husky brother, Loki, [...] Rick Rick at Dogs at Camp Cookstown Rick was born on November 18, 2005. He’s a happy dog who likes to run and play with other dogs. Rick weighs about 77lbs. He’s currently being fostered by Dogs at Camp in Cookstown until his permanent home comes along. Rick is just one lovable teddy bear. He [...] This week at Dogs at Camp, two Foster Campers were adopted, and a new one arrived: Adopted this week: From Dogs at Camp Uxbridge: – Dorito: Dorito at Dogs at Camp! From Dogs at Camp Cookstown – Lasko: Lasko at Dogs at Camp! Newest Foster Camper: Keena, a pure-bred 3.5 year old Siberian Husky, arrived at Dogs at Camp Uxbridge [...] We are thrilled to announce that Desi, who was with us at Dogs at Camp Uxbridge as a Foster Camper for only a couple of weeks, has found a new home! We thank her new family for providing a wonderful home for her, and we have no doubt she’ll continue to be the sweetheart that she’s [...] Our newest Foster Camper, Desi, arrived at camp this past week. She settled in the very same day, and has been a pleasure to have with us since! Desi at Dogs at Camp Uxbridge! Desi is a Purebred Husky. She is about 3 years old, and is an absolute sweetheart! Mickey is one of the Foster Campers at Dogs at Camp Uxbridge. When he first came to us, he was shy, lacked confidence, and had the look we see all too often on the face of a dog who has not been shown the affection every dog deserves. Mickey when he first arrived at camp, [...] This weekend, Dogs at Camp will have booth space set up at the Pet Fun Fest event. The event is in support of Helping Homeless Pets, which is an umbrella organization which supports a large number of individual pet rescue efforts. We will be there to promote awareness of our Foster Camper program, as well as [...] Tucker, a Dogs at Camp Foster Camper, was adopted by Stephanie – a staff member at Dogs at Camp Cookstown.
