Dogs at Camp Milton, our newest camp, is conveniently located west of the GTA – just 10 minutes North of the 401! Situated on 40 beautiful acres, this camp sports a brand new barn building, modeled after Dogs at Camp Uxbridge. The building features air conditioning, air filtration and circulation, [...] I am the foster co-ordinator for the Animal Guardian Society in Durham Region, Ontario. Recently I took advantage of the Foster Camper Program with Dogs at Camp in Uxbridge.  I am involved at times in the rescue and transport of dogs from various pounds in the Southern U.S., primarily Kentucky.  I received a frantic call [...] Julia at Dogs at Camp Uxbridge. Julia is our most recent Foster Camper, and she has settled in beautifully! She came to us from Siber Rescue, who brought her in – as her elderly owner became ill. Julia is a sweet, calm, and easy going 2 year old Husky / Shepherd mix.  She is house-trained, and [...] Trey Trey came to Dogs at Camp Ottawa at the end of November from a situation of neglect at a dog sledding operation in Quebec. He was dirty, anxious and really unsure of what was going on. As the Owner of Dogs at Camp Ottawa, I spend a lot of time with the dogs in our care, [...] We wish Leila and her new family all the best! Leila is a 2-3 year old Lab/Pointer mix who came to us all the way from rural Arkansas where she had been at a pound for a very long time without finding a home. Thankfully, Precious Paws Rescue was able to bring this beautiful girl [...] |
